Strength & Power Athletes

Strength and Power athletes are more vulnerable to the effects of scar tissue and muscular adhesions due to heavy repetitious training. Despite gains made in size and strength most power athletes begin to lose range of motion in some of the body' larger muscle groups. When an athlete begins to feel tightness in muscles and limited range of motion, this indicates that the athlete is using only the flexible portion of the muscle and its movement. Strength is not being maximized when only a portion of the muscle is being used.
We have developed protocols for the various power events that our patients present with to help them regain their range of motion, strength and power. Why train if you cannot perform to the fullest? Our goal is simple, we want to maximize your performance.
